Why should you choose CBSE Boards over ICSE Boards?

With the majority of people telling you to make the right decision by asking your seniors or teachers to choose between CBSE or ICSE boards, I will suggest you, go for CBSE Boards over anything.

Why?
Since Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is the most common and preferred board in India, ICSE is considered to have the most stringent syllabus and curriculum in comparison to all the other boards. The Central Board of Secondary Education has a comfortable and uncomplicated exam pattern to operate a chain of government schools. Considering the recognition and power of centralised CBSE board, most private schools have opted for the same.

Now, CBSE boards have become one of the largest board chains in India and abroad. Even though the students of ICSE boards have more knowledge in the difficult subjects and are more fluent in spoken English, CBSE has an intermediate level of learning for the students. With the broader and stricter curriculum, the students of government schools will not be able to clear the ICSE exams. NCERT recognise CBSE with the aim to provide education to everybody. Because of the publicly acknowledged course of CBSE, it becomes easier for students to migrate to different cities for higher studies. CBSE emphasises more on the difficult subjects like Maths and Science to focus on the career of the child whereas ICSE focuses on all the subjects trying to bring the overall growth of the students. As CBSE focuses more on Maths and Science as the base subjects, people tend to take online CBSE Maths tuitions to understand the hard concepts and know the how to tricks to solve difficult questions. While a student tries to focus on all the subjects and build a practical and analytical knowledge of subjects through ICSE boards, CBSE balances theory and practical knowledge together for a comprehensive study.

The best part is that CBSE syllabus is followed by most of the entrance exams in India. For most of the competitive exams, the institutes follow the CBSE pattern because of the majority of the students. Whether you are applying for engineering or medicines in IIT (Indian Institute of Technology) or AIPMT (All India Pre Medical Test), the exam syllabus is CBSE based.

While the nation follows the CBSE pattern, you will find more online CBSE Maths tuitions or Science tutorials for basic understanding. CBSE exam pattern allows a student to choose either English or Hindi as a medium to answer the exams. Hence, making it less complicated for Hindi medium people to attempt the examination and giving them the freedom to score as much as they can in the language they are comfortable in attempting the paper.

Therefore, I will stick to my suggestion for you to choose CBSE over ICSE or any state board because neither is too tough to crack and nor it is a state board which is not comparable to the standard of these two boards.
